If you think you or your child would benefit from Orthotropic treatment, we offer several different types of initial consultation as we are aware that some potential patients may be contacting us from overseas or distant areas of the UK. Differen types of consultations have varying price brackets.
Dr Mew is only taking on children under the age of 10 years. He is not currently taking any adult patients for treatment, however you can book an ‘online’ consultation for ‘advice only’.
The best way for the Orthodontic Health team to assess your child is with a face-to-face consultation with Dr Mike Mew in our clinic in Purley. These consultation appointments last for approximately 1 hour and patients will leave with a clear understanding of how Orthotropics would be able to help their specific case.
During that time Dr Mew will make an assessment of the patient and discuss how orthotropic treatment could potentially help in the patient’s specific case. High quality records will be taken including photos facial and dental images.
Following this consultation patients will be provided with a follow up letter summarising the discussions that took place during the consultation and outlining a potential treatment plan.

This session will take place via Zoom and we will provide you with a video recording of the session after the event. This service is aimed primarily at overseas patients.
It is important to note that we will need some dental imagery (we will provide guidance on how to take the required images after you have made payment) and as many details of the case as possible prior to any online consultation.
No written notes are taken during this type of consultation and no follow up letter is sent.
